Houston Fire & Security is seeking a dedicated on-site Fire Alarm Technician in Humble, TX to install, service, and commission life-safety systems. You will program control panels, diagnose low-voltage issues, and perform inspections to ensure code compliance.

Strong client communication and independent work are essential. The role requires current FAL and FEL-B licenses, experience with fire alarm tech, and familiarity with life safety codes.

Qualifications

• Hold current FAL and FEL-B licenses.

• Skilled in electrical troubleshooting, installation and wiring.
• On-site work in Humble, TX.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and commission fire alarm systems.
• Program fire alarm control panels for reliable operation.
• Diagnose and resolve low-voltage issues to ensure life safety.
• Perform life safety inspections and inspect portable extinguishers with documentation.
• Coordinate with clients to meet safety protocols and regulatory requirements across environments.
• Engage with adjacent systems: monitoring, extinguishers, kitchen hood, sprinklers, pumps, and backflow preventers.
