Job summary

Accenture Life Insurance Consulting Managers lead critical workstreams across transformation programs within the Life & Annuity value chain, translating objectives into initiatives spanning operations, digital core modernization, and AI-enabled workflows.

They partner with senior client leaders to shape future-state operating models, design value-driven roadmaps, and drive delivery across cross-functional teams in agile environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of consulting, carrier, or transformation experience within Life Insurance, Annuities, or the broader insurance industry.
• Experience leading business and/or technology workstreams within complex transformation, modernization, platform implementation, or digital transformation programs.
• Proven ability to identify, shape, sell, and lead consulting engagements, leveraging stakeholder management and structured problem-solving.
• Hands-on experience delivering programs in agile or iterative environments, including serving as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
• Foundational knowledge of AI and Agentic AI concepts and their application within the insurance industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead critical business and technology workstreams across Life & Annuity transformation programs from strategy through implementation.
• Partner with client leaders to define transformation objectives, future-state operating models, and roadmaps.
• Redesign end-to-end workflows across underwriting, policy administration, servicing, claims, and operations.
• Help clients determine how AI, automation, and emerging technologies can improve performance and customer experience.
• Design AI-enabled workflows, including orchestration and human decision points.
• Translate priorities into actionable transformation plans linking operations, digital platforms, data, and AI.
