About the Position:

This is not a role in fine arts or IT program design.

The ideal candidate will provide Case Design support to Brokers and Agents, offering product knowledge, generating quotes, and creating illustrations. They will conduct fact-finding to evaluate client needs and support agents comprehensively. Additionally, they will equip advisors with detailed illustrations and training to help secure sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide case design assistance via phone consultation, offering creative, customized solutions considering plan objectives, health history, funding options, and carrier strengths. Use independent judgment to analyze each case.
2. Evaluate insurability, match clients with suitable carriers and products, and provide original solutions and alternatives, including illustrative options.
3. Document interactions and follow-up activities, recognizing new opportunities and thanking producers for their business.
4. Follow up proactively on 'hot-sheet' cases within 10 days and engage with top producers to support their business.
5. Support the team by sharing insights, answering questions, and offering suggestions.
6. Participate in carrier events, webinars, and industry activities to stay current and improve processes.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• Thorough knowledge of life insurance products, planning techniques, illustration systems, and CRM tools.
• Ability to act as an internal sales resource for retail life products, collaborating with external sales teams.
• Attention to elements that could influence case outcomes, understanding the competitive landscape and product specifics.
• Industry experience with good intuition about case factors, familiarity with various carriers.
• Strong understanding of DBS, client relationships, and organizational roles.

Education and/or Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent required; further education preferred.
• Extensive experience supporting sales desks in BGA or home office environments.
• Experience in life insurance, especially in Case Design or brokerage settings; personal sales experience is a plus.
• Experience with Winflex Web, Ensight, Salesforce preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registration:

• Life & Health License preferred or to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
