About the Position:

This is not a role for fine arts or IT program design.

The ideal candidate will provide Case Design support to Brokers and Agents, adding value through activities such as offering product knowledge, generating quotes, and creating illustrations. They will conduct fact-finding to evaluate client needs thoroughly and provide comprehensive support to agents. Additionally, the candidate will equip advisors with detailed illustrations and training to help secure sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Provide case design assistance via phone consultation, delivering creative, customized solutions considering plan objectives, health history, funding options, competition, and carrier strengths. Use independent judgment for each case.
  2. Evaluate insurability, match clients with suitable carriers and products, and provide original solutions and alternatives, including detailed illustrations when appropriate.
  3. Document interactions in the internal system, complete follow-ups, recognize new opportunities, and thank producers for their business.
  4. Proactively follow up on 'hot-sheet' cases within 10 days and maintain contact with top producers, seeking ways to impact their business positively.
  5. Support team collaboration by answering questions, sharing tips, and participating in industry events and webinars to stay current.
  6. Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Thorough knowledge of life insurance products, planning techniques, illustration, and CRM systems.
  • Ability to act as internal sales support for retail life products, partnering with external sales teams.
  • Attention to elements that could influence case outcomes, understanding the competitive landscape and product specifics.
  • Industry experience with good intuition about issues that affect case success, familiarity with various carriers.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; additional education preferred.
  • Extensive experience supporting sales desks in BGA or Home Office environments.
  • Experience in life insurance, preferably in Case Design or brokerage settings; personal sales experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Winflex Web, Ensight, and Salesforce preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registration:

  • Life & Health License preferred or obtainable within 90 days of hire.
