Job summary

Meridian Senior Living seeks a Life Inspired Director to create and oversee life enrichment activities for seniors in our community. You will develop programs that address social needs, coordinate volunteers, and supervise staff to ensure high-quality resident experiences.

You must meet state activity certification requirements, communicate effectively, and maintain professional relationships with residents, families, staff, and the public. CPR/First Aid and health compliance are expected.

Qualifications

• Must have certification as required by State regulations for activities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with residents, families, staff and public.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, evaluate, and implement activity programs for seniors with varying needs.
• Supervise staff and train volunteers to deliver life enrichment activities.
• Maintain relationships with residents and families to promote engagement and well-being.
• Ensure compliance with state dementia-specific training and safety standards.
• Represent the community in a positive, professional manner.
