Meridian Senior Living in Bay Shore is seeking a dedicated Life Enrichment Coordinator (LIC) to support the quality of life for community members by conducting engaging daily activities.

In this full-time role, you will lead by example, maintain ethical standards, and foster relationships with residents, families, and staff. Ideal candidates will demonstrate the ability to create fun, participatory programs that enhance residents' experiences.

About the LIC Position

The LIC will support community members’ quality of life by executing daily activities with group or individual members. The LIC will assist with monthly calendars in assisted living and execute plans, programs and events that meet the required needs of the community members socially, mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. The LIC will build and maintain positive working relationships with all community members, families, staff, and across the geographic area served.

Responsibilities

Lead by example and maintain ethical standards; support planning, scheduling and execution of quality activities according to care plans; create and maintain positive relationships with community members and families; support the preparation and distribution of activity calendars, communication materials and update orientation boards; assist with community members’ special events, outings, birthdays, anniversaries, etc.; generate enthusiasm to encourage participation; provide leadership and support for high-quality volunteers; and assist in Memory Care as needed.

• Assist with community members’ special events, outings, birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
• Generate enthusiasm to encourage and motivate participation.
• Provide leadership and support for high-quality volunteers.
• Sun-Thursday 9am-5:30pm.
• Assist in Memory Care as needed.
