Role Overview: The Lifeguard performs reception duties, maintains the fitness facilities—including water level and temperature of the swimming pool—and ensures all equipment and facilities are safe, hygienic, and well-maintained. The Lifeguard also guides guests on the safe use of fitness equipment and ensures guest satisfaction.

What will I be doing?

• Maintain high guest service standards and rapport, proactively addressing guests' needs and requests.
• Resolve issues promptly, communicating effectively with guests and colleagues.
• Respond quickly to changing requirements and tasks.
• Contribute ideas to improve operational and environmental procedures.
• Remain vigilant and responsible at all times.
• Ensure all facilities and equipment are functioning properly.
• Provide a safe and comfortable experience for guests and a safe working environment for staff.
• Greet and farewell guests warmly and genuinely.
• Assist the Front Desk when the pool area is unoccupied.
• Explain and assist guests with the use of Health Club facilities.
• Maintain audio-visual equipment, replenish supplies such as towels and water.
• Monitor water levels and chlorine, reporting issues to the Assistant Health Club Manager.
• Introduce guests to Spa and Health Club memberships.
• Maintain and repair equipment, issuing work orders as needed.
• Handle customer interactions tactfully to resolve conflicts.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
• Follow management instructions and adapt to job changes as needed.

• Have at least 2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Work well under pressure and handle stressful situations during busy periods.
