Job summary

NHC Place at Cool Springs in Franklin, TN, is seeking an energetic Life Enrichment & Wellness Assistant to plan, prepare, and lead therapeutic activities that support physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being.

You will work with dementia care, assist dining when needed, and engage residents in group and 1:1 activities Monday through Friday, with pay between $17 and $20 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience or comfort working with elderly patients, including dementia care.
• Creative, energetic, organized, and flexible.
• Ability to lead groups and adapt activities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and lead group and individual Life Enrichment activities that support physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being.
• Lead exercise, mobility, movement, and restorative-style activities appropriate to patient abilities.
• Adapt activities for patients with dementia and hospice-level care using sensory-based approaches.
• Provide individualized 1:1 engagement for patients unable to participate in group activities.
