Job summary

The Knolls of Oxford is seeking a Life Enrichment Associate to enhance residents' quality of life by leading engaging activities that support social connection, mental stimulation, and emotional well-being.

You will build meaningful relationships, create personalized experiences that bring purpose, joy, and belonging, and collaborate with a dedicated BHI Senior Living team to provide compassionate care and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing or Assisted Living preferred.
• Ability to operate office and audio-visual equipment.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to written assessments, care plans, and documents progress.
• Assist with the development of the monthly calendar, ensuring it includes daily evening, holiday, and weekend events and activities.
• Assists with planning the programs including educational, entertainment, spiritual, and physical activities, and programs.
• Posts activity reminders to encourage participation.
• Decorates designated areas for special events and parties and provides necessary assistance to residents, helps with preparation and cleanup for such events.
• Assists in coordinating transportation of residents to outside programs, events, or medical appointments.
• Maintains a variety of stimulating activities and supplies for residents who choose and/or can perform activities independently.
• Effectively manages problems with difficult or disturbed residents, family, or sponsor/surrogate.
• Fulltime Day shift 9:00a -5:00p every other weekend and every other holiday.
