Job summary

Atria Senior Living in Ohio is seeking an Engage Life Coordinator to develop programs that enrich residents’ daily lives and exceed activity expectations. You will collaborate with residents to tailor opportunities that bring delight and connection across the community.

You will lead activities, assist with fitness programs, and serve as a manager on duty when needed, coordinating with staff and volunteers to ensure engaging, well-organized events year-round.

Qualifications

• GED or diploma required; higher degree preferred.
• 1–2 years coordinating, planning and executing group activities.
• Proficient English communication, written and spoken.
• Driver's license with good driving record; driving may be required.
• Proficient with MS Word, Outlook and Excel; comfortable with tablets.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engage Life programs and develop daily, weekly and monthly plans.
• Keep residents connected to each other and to activities and the community.
• Teach and lead exercises; assist with fitness equipment safety.
• Act as manager on duty as required and support public relations efforts.
• Recruit, train, and supervise drivers and volunteers when applicable.
• Plan parties, events, and decorate the community seasonally.
