Job summary

Charter Senior Living is seeking a Life Enrichment/Programming Assistant with assisted living experience to enhance residents' daily lives through social, educational, recreational and therapeutic activities. You will assist with transportation to activities and support the Life Enrichment Director in daily programming.

The role requires willingness to work weekends and holidays, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, applying problem-solving and budgeting skills as

Qualifications

• Experience working in assisted living or similar elder care setting.
• Ability to plan and implement social, educational, recreational and therapeutic activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement day-to-day social, educational, recreational, spiritual and therapeutic activities per the activity calendar.
• Assist transport residents to activities in-building and on van outings.
• Willing to work assigned shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Work independently with minimal supervision; solve problems and manage conflicts; assist with budgeting.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Life Enrichment/ Programming Assistant will assist the Life Enrichment Director with the planning and implementation of the day to day social, educational, recreational, spiritual, and therapeutic individual and group activities as listed on the activity calendar. Aid transport residents to activities in the building and on van outings. Other: Willing to work shift assigned, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision; problem solving, conflict management, budgeting.
