Charter Senior Living in Mequon, WI is seeking a Part-Time Life Enrichment / Programming Assistant to create engaging activities for residents. You will help plan and lead daily events, coordinate outings, and foster a warm, active community.

The role requires weekend availability, a compassionate and energetic approach, and a passion for bringing fun and purposeful engagement to seniors. Starting pay ranges from $15–$17 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in activities, recreation, senior living, caregiving, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
• Assisted living or memory care experience strongly preferred.
• Compassionate and resident-focused attitude.
• Creative, energetic, and outgoing personality.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Valid driver’s license preferred for community outings and transportation support.

Position Summary

The Life Enrichment / Programming Assistant supports the planning and implementation of engaging social, recreational, educational, spiritual, and therapeutic activities designed to enhance residents’ quality of life and overall wellbeing.

This role works closely with the Life Enrichment Director to help create meaningful experiences that encourage resident participation, connection, independence, and joy.

The ideal candidate is energetic, compassionate, creative, and enjoys building relationships with seniors while helping create a fun and engaging community environment.
