Job summary

Charter Senior Living of Danvers is seeking a Life Enrichment / Programming Assistant to plan and lead engaging activities for residents in Danvers, MA. The role supports a variety of social, recreational, educational, spiritual, and therapeutic programs to enhance quality of life.

The ideal candidate brings energy, compassion, and creativity to foster participation, build relationships with residents and families, and contribute to a warm, engaging community.

Qualifications

• Previous activities, recreation, senior living, caregiving, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
• Assisted living or memory care experience strongly preferred
• Compassionate and resident-focused attitude
• Creative, energetic, and outgoing personality
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays as needed
• Valid driver’s license preferred for community outings and transportation support

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Life Enrichment / Programming Assistant supports the planning and implementation of engaging social, recreational, educational, spiritual, and therapeutic activities designed to enhance residents’ quality of life and overall wellbeing.

This role works closely with the Life Enrichment Director to help create meaningful experiences that encourage resident participation, connection, independence, and joy.
