Job summary

Charter Senior Living is seeking a Life Enrichment/ Programming Assistant with assisted living experience to support the planning and execution of daily social, educational, recreational, spiritual and therapeutic activities. Assist with resident transport to activities and outings and be available for weekends and holidays as needed.

• Experience in life enrichment or activity programming, preferably with assisted living residents.
• Ability to plan, coordinate and implement daily activities as per the activity calendar.
• Willingness to transport residents to activities and outings; comfortable with memory-care and therapeutic activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Life Enrichment Director with planning and implementing daily activities.
• Aid resident transport to activities and outings.
• Work assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays; work independently with supervision as needed.
• Assist with budgeting and problem solving within programming activities.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Life Enrichment/ Programming Assistant will assist the Life Enrichment Director with the planning and implementation of the day to day social, educational, recreational, spiritual, and therapeutic individual and group activities as listed on the activity calendar. Aid transport residents to activities in the building and on van outings. Other: Willing to work shift assigned, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision; problem solving, conflict management, budgeting.
