Job summary

Walnut Ridge is seeking a Life Enrichment Director to lead the Daily Life Enrichment program for Assisted Living residents. You will coordinate volunteer-based activities, build partnerships with local schools and businesses, and maintain a dynamic activity calendar to enhance resident and family experiences.

The role requires supervisory experience, a high school diploma or higher, and the ability to train volunteers while ensuring compliance with regulations and budgets.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of supervisory experience in a senior living environment.
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Ability to train and motivate volunteers and fellow team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, manage, and develop volunteer-based activities and programs that enrich the lives of residents.
• Develop & maintain relationships with local schools, businesses and social organizations to establish an active network of volunteers.
• Develop & maintain a calendar of activities and events for residents and families.
• Budget preparation and monitoring of expenses and financial statements to meet targets.
• Recruit, hire, coach and retain a high performing employee team.
• Maintain all appropriate state level certifications or licenses.
