Job summary

Morningside House of Towamencin in Lansdale, PA is seeking an Activities Assistant - Life Enrichment to assist the Life Enrichment Director in designing, coordinating and delivering a wide variety of recreational and educational activities for residents.

The role involves planning and evaluating programs, encouraging resident participation, escorting residents on outings, managing supplies, and helping maintain a safe, positive environment that supports resident well‑being.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two‑year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are required.
• Ability to plan and support activities for residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning, coordinating, and evaluating resident activities.
• Encourages resident participation in programs and activities.
• Escorts residents on activities away from the property as assigned.
• Assists with the registration of residents for trips and programs.
• Conducts various activities at the direction of the Life Enrichment Director.
• Maintains necessary activity supplies, which may include outside purchasing.
• Assists in surveying and interviewing residents to determine interests, talents and satisfaction.
• Maintains general observation of residents and shares information with staff.
• Follows departmental budget guidelines.
• Attends all required training and staff meetings.
• Maintains a safe working environment and professional demeanor.
• Adheres to all policies and procedures of Morningside Elite Management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
