Morningside House of Towamencin, located in Lansdale, PA, is seeking an Activities Assistant for Life Enrichment. The role supports the Life Enrichment Director by planning and coordinating a wide range of activities for residents, under supervision, with opportunities for growth.

The position offers full-time or part-time hours and requires an associate degree or related experience. Join a team focused on engaging residents through meaningful programs.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college; or 6 months to 1 year related experience.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and evaluate resident activities.
Encourage resident participation in programs.
Escort residents on activities away from the property as assigned.
Assist with the registration of residents for trips and programs.
Conduct activities as directed by the Life Enrichment Director.
Maintain activity supplies, possibly including outside purchases.
Survey and interview residents to determine interests and satisfaction.
Maintain observation of residents and share information with staff.
Follow departmental budget guidelines.
Attend trainings, in-service and staff meetings.
Maintain a safe working environment and professional demeanor.
