Job summary

Laurus is seeking a Life Enrichment Lead at StoryPoint Grove City to plan engaging activities for residents in a senior living community. Schedule is Monday through Friday 8:30am-4:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays.

You will assist the Life Enrichment Director with program direction, coordinate transportation, set up spaces, and help ensure resident safety while providing compassionate, independent team collaboration.

Qualifications

• One to three years related experience and/or training preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holiday hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist Life Enrichment Director with the overall direction, planning, communication and execution of activities and life skills in the Life Enrichment department.
• Supports the Life Enrichment Director with administrative tasks as needed.
• Complete all tasks and functions while maintaining a high level of resident safety.
• Support in proper setup, clean up and upkeep of activity areas and community spaces.
• Support transportation by attending outings, coordinating relevant administrative tasks and upholding safety practices.
• Provide direction to Life Enrichment support roles regarding day-to-day activities and responsibilities.
• Support functional responsibilities in absence of Life Enrichment Director as needed.

Position Summary
The Life Enrichment Lead is responsible for planning life enrichment activities that are beneficial and complimentary to the social welfare and interests of the residents of a senior living community
The Life Enrichment Lead will serve as an expert for personal programming for all residents within the community

Primary Responsibilities for Life Enrichment Lead
Actively support our 1440 culture and pillarsAssist the Life Enrichment Director with the overall direction planning communication and execution of activities and life skills in the Life Enrichment departmentSupports the Life Enrichment Director with administrative tasks as neededComplete all tasks and functions while maintaining a high level of resident safetySupport in proper setup clean up and upkeep of activity areas and community spacesSupport transportation by attending outings coordinating relevant administrative tasks and upholding safety practicesAdhere to and uphold all standards in the Employee HandbookProvide direction to Life Enrichment support roles eg LEA Shuttle Drivers regarding day to day activities and responsibilitiesSupport functional responsibilities in absence of Life Enrichment Director as needed
