Job summary

Saber Health Group is seeking a Life Enrichment Director for Valley Hill Health and Rehab in Hendersonville, NC. The role focuses on planning, organizing, developing, implementing, and directing a comprehensive life enrichment program to enhance resident wellness in alignment with regulations and facility policies.

You will lead an interdisciplinary team, ensure quality enrichment activities, and drive resident engagement while adhering to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be CTRS through NCTRC; or ADC through NCCAP; or a COTA certified in the state.
• Bachelor's degree in therapeutic recreation or related field is preferred but not required.
• Minimum two years of experience in a social or recreation program within the last five years, preferably in healthcare as director.
• CTRS experience preferred.
• LTC experience preferred.
• Must communicate in English and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must demonstrate good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and direct the life enrichment program according to regulations and policies.
• Enhance resident wellness and quality of life through a comprehensive activity plan.
• Ensure programs meet residents' physical, emotional, social, and cultural needs.
• Coordinate with administration to implement health and safety guidelines.
