Job summary

Riverbank Post Acute invites applications for an Activity Director to lead a therapeutic activity program for residents. You will design and supervise activity initiatives, coordinate with nursing and care teams, and ensure activities promote physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

Responsibilities include planning calendars, supervising staff, and coordinating care plans with the admin team. Requires a Bachelor’s in Recreation Therapy or related field and at least two years in program

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy, Gerontology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in program development or recreational therapy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement activity programs tailored to resident needs and interests.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Schedule and lead individual, group, and bedside activities across multiple locations and times.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and quality assurance through regular rounds and staff supervision.
• Hire, train, and manage activity staff and volunteers to support resident well-being.
