Otterbein Sunset Village is seeking a Life Enrichment/Activities Director to lead and coordinate activities, outings, and volunteer support. You will oversee activity staff and implement the facility’s mission and policies in line with senior living guidelines.

The role emphasizes person-centered care, partnership with residents, and contributing to a compassionate, quality care environment across our communities and neighborhoods.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in an Activities department within a senior living community or event coordinating.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience.
• Recreational Therapist preferred.

• Encourage resident participation and procure equipment and supplies.

Overview

The primary purpose of the Life Enrichment/Activities Director is to oversee and coordinate the activities programs and resident outings for the facility and to develop a solid volunteer program to support the department’s work. Supervise campus activity staff. The Life Enrichment Director has administrative authority as assigned by the Community Builder (LNHA), responsibility and accountability for activities and beauty shop personnel and development of all activities program, in compliance with nursing home and residential care facility rules and guidelines. Participate in the implementation of the mission, philosophy, objectives and policies of Otterbein Sunset Village.
