Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Assistant Living Resident Assistants at our West Liberty, Ohio community. You will help residents with daily living activities and contribute to a family-like campus atmosphere.

We offer both part-time (2p-10p) and full-time (10p-6a) shifts, with DailyPay available for earned wages. You will work collaboratively with a caregiving team under nurse supervision to ensure high-quality, timely care for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• First Aid Certification required.
• Previous care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide encouragement and high-quality care in a cheerful, timely manner.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (oral care, toileting, bathing, incontinence, dressing) as needed.
• Provide supervision or non-weight-bearing assistance related to transfer ambulation per resident.
• Roll carts, laundry hampers and equipment safely through work and resident areas.
• Communicate and cooperate with resident needs and team structure.
• Work as a team under the nurse's supervision and direction.
• Respond quickly to emergency calls from Independent Living residents as directed by the nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, cueing or other non-weight-bearing assistance related to transfer ambulation as needed per resident
• Roll carts, laundry hampers and other equipment safely through work and resident areas
• Communicate, coordinate and cooperate with resident needs and team structure
• Work as a team under the supervision and direction of the nurse in charge
• Quickly respond to emergency calls from Independent Living residents as directed by the nurse in charge

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience preferred
