Job summary

Chateau Pacific in Lynnwood, WA is seeking a Life Enrichment Director to lead the programs that bring residents' interests to life. You will design activities, outings, and events that foster joy, connection, and belonging, while mentoring staff and coordinating transportation and budgets.

This role requires creativity, compassion for older adults, strong organizational and leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with Marketing and other teams to deliver meaningful community

Qualifications

• One year of long-term care experience; assisted living preferred.
• Creativity, initiative and strong organization.
• Compassionate, respectful approach to older adults; able to lead and collaborate.
• Experience using a computer for calendars and department work.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Current permits/credentials: Food Handlers, MAST, driver license with clean record, MH/Dementia training, HCA/NAC, CPR/First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Plan activities, entertainment, events, and outings for residents with varied interests and abilities.
• Create the monthly activity calendar and help produce the community newsletter.
• Lead Life Enrichment staff and coordinate transportation staffing.
• Manage the activities budget and partner with Marketing and other teams on community events.
• Coordinate safe outings, drive community vehicles as needed, and use resident feedback to improve the program.

SCHEDULE: Sunday-Thursday

PAY: $29.00–$32.00 per hour/Full-Time

You will lead the Life Enrichment program and the people who help bring it to life. By getting to know our residents and listening to what matters to them, you can create moments of joy, connection, and belonging. WHAT YOU BRING

• At least one year of long-term care experience; assisted living experience is preferred.
• Creativity, initiative, strong organization, and the ability to carry a great idea through to a great experience.
• A compassionate, respectful approach to older adults and the ability to lead, collaborate, and communicate well.
• Experience using a computer for calendars and department work.
• A bachelors degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Current Food Handlers Permit, MAST permit, valid drivers license with a clean driving abstract, Mental Health and Dementia training, HCA or NAC credential, and CPR and First Aid certification.
