Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Regular worksite attendance.
• Must be able to work beyond normal hours including weekends and holidays when necessary.
• Must be able to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement activities to meet residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial needs.
• Coordinate recruitment, retention, and involvement of volunteers with residents.
• Input on data sets, participate in care plans and assessments.
• Deliver residents' mail, newsletters, and community information.
• Coordinate community involvement and staff functions to boost morale.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and safety protocols.
