Job summary

Touchmark on Saddle Drive seeks a Life Enrichment Director to design and lead a dynamic activities and wellness program that enhances residents' physical, cognitive, social, and spiritual well‑being.

You will partner with the Executive Director to welcome new residents, coordinate events, and build a thriving community culture, guiding a team to deliver impactful programs and memorable experiences daily.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Enrichment, Health & Wellness, Recreation, or similar
• 2+ years experience in senior retirement life enrichment programs
• Proven ability to plan, direct, supervise, and facilitate a Life Enrichment program
• Strong organizational and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Lead a vibrant activities and wellness program for residents
• Partner with the Executive Director and Retirement Counselors to welcome future residents
• Plan and implement signature events, and coordinate trips and outings
• Develop budgets and strategic plans aligned with community goals
• Foster a welcoming community culture and hands-on leadership

Life Enrichment Director

$62,000.00, - $67,000.00/Annual Salary Primary Schedule: Monday – Friday Schedule Varies Based On Community and Activities Schedule

As the Life Enrichment Director at Touchmark on Saddle Drive, you will enrich lives every day by bringing energy, creativity, and genuine care to a role where you shape daily life for residents and help build the community culture. As Life Enrichment Director, you will design and lead a vibrant activities and wellness program that supports residents’ physical, cognitive, social, and spiritual well-being. You’ll partner closely with the Executive Director, and Retirement Counselors to welcome future residents and connect people with shared interests.

Additionally, you’ll lead a team in planning and implementing Touchmark signature events, and other events that spark resident engagement, coordinate trips, tours, and outings—including transportation and community partnerships. A significant part of the role is brainstorming fresh ideas and fostering the strong sense of community you help to create. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity to make a visible, lasting impact on how people experience senior living.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Life Enrichment, Health & Wellness, Recreation, or similar) plus 2 years of experience in senior retirement life enrichment programs, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proven ability to plan, direct, supervise, and facilitate a Life Enrichment program with integrity, empathy, and resourcefulness
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn organization-specific software
• Experience developing and managing an annual life enrichment budget and strategic plan that aligns with community and company goals
