Job summary

Regency Park, part of Cascade Living Group, seeks an Activities Assistant (Life Enrichment Associate) to plan and lead engaging activities for residents in assisted living and memory care. You will work to encourage participation and tailor activities to individual needs.

Must have First Aid/CPR and a Food Workers Card, with preferred experience in dementia care and life enrichment programming. Strong communication, listening skills, and a proactive, respectful approach are essential.

Qualifications

• First Aid/CPR Certification
• Food Workers Card
• Preferred experience with Alzheimer's or Dementia, and/or in Assisted Living or Memory Care; including experience as caregiver.
• Preferred experience in Life Enrichment/ Activity Programming
• Compassionate individuals who will represent our community in a positive and professional manner
• Effective communicator who connects with staff, residents and their families
• Demonstrate active listening techniques, gain support by treating others with dignity and respect
• Strong customer service skills with ability to problem solve
• Ownership attitude who is able to stay focused despite interruptions throughout the day

Responsibilities

• Must have experience in planning, organizing and executing a varied schedule of life enrichment opportunities for all levels of seniors
• Valid Driver’s license as this role may require driving residents
• Effective communicator who connects with staff, residents and their families
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to facilitate small-group presentations
• Ownership attitude who is able to stay focused despite interruptions throughout the day
• Innovative thinker who brings new ideas to the table
