Job summary
University Retirement Community in Davis, CA seeks a Life Enrichment Coordinator to design and deliver engaging programs that enhance residents’ daily living and wellbeing. This full-time role requires creativity, empathy, and collaboration with staff and volunteers to provide person-centered activities across wellness, social, spiritual, and cognitive domains.
Experience in senior living is preferred; CPR/First Aid and Activity Coordinator Certification are desirable.
Qualifications
- Experience in senior living, recreation therapy, or related field preferred.
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement therapeutic and life enrichment programs.
- Lead holistic activities with person-centered care.
- Coordinate wellness and recreation activities for residents.
- Provide hands-on involvement during activities.
- Support and supervise volunteers.
- Collaborate with the Activity Director to expand engagement opportunities.
