Job summary

Touchmark on West Prospect, the Fox Valley’s leading full-service retirement community, is seeking a Full-Time Life Enrichment Coordinator to plan and lead activities for Independent Living residents.

Design creative, high-energy programs; foster wellness across physical, intellectual, social, and emotional domains; coordinate events with Dining Services and volunteers, and engage residents in a vibrant community. The role requires weekend and holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; coursework in recreation, hospitality, or human services is preferred.
• Experience planning and leading activities in a senior living, hospitality, or recreational setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and lead daily programs, events, classes, and excursions promoting wellness across physical, intellectual, social, and emotional dimensions.
• Encourage participation and foster community engagement among residents.
• Coordinate special events, intergenerational programs, and outings.
• Partner with Dining Services and other departments for community celebrations and theme events.
• Document attendance, participation, and feedback to continuously improve programming.
• Assist with recruitment of volunteers and outside entertainment.
