Job summary

Virginia Department of Veterans Services is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator to develop and administer a comprehensive activity program for residents at the Puller Veterans Center. You will design engaging recreational activities that meet the needs, interests, and capabilities of the assisted living population.

The role requires a year of recreational therapy experience in a long-term care setting, English proficiency, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• One year of recreational therapy in a long term care setting.
• Able to speak, read and write English.
• High school graduate or GED.

Minimum Qualifications

• One year of recreational therapy in a long term care setting
• College program with emphasis in therapeutic recreation or certification as a Resident Activity Coordinator a plus but not required.
• Able to speak, read and write English
• High school graduate or GED
