Job summary

Fleet Landing is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator for a part-time weekend role (Fridays and Saturdays, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM) to deliver meaningful programs for memory care Residents.

You will plan monthly calendars, coordinate events, and provide both group and individual activities, working closely with residents, families and staff to ensure high-quality care and fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: high school diploma or college degree preferred.
• At least 1 year in social, recreational, or dependent care environments.
• Experience with dementia/Alzheimer's patients a plus; experience with groups of seniors and driving seniors.
• Ability to work with residents, families, volunteers, and other staff to provide quality care.

Responsibilities

• Plan monthly activity calendars and events.
• Implement planned activities for assigned unit.
• Provide one-on-one visits and document interactions.
• Serve as host/ess for noon meals when assigned.
• Encourage resident participation in activities and transport to events.
• Support outings using Fleet Landing vehicles when permitted.

Your Opportunity

We are seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator for our Part-Time Weekend position. This position will work Friday and Saturday 8:0AM-4:30PM. Their primary responsibility is to provide quality programs to our memory care Residents in that celebrate life, promote socialization, and provide Resident fulfillment. Assist in planning monthly calendars and events; banquet event orders related to events; delivery of activity programs as planned including group and individual activities for our Residents. Work in cohesion with other staff members, departments, volunteers, and families to provide the highest quality of care and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with planning monthly activity calendar, which provides purposeful activities, suited to the resident’s needs and interests.
• Responsible for planning, preparing, and implementation of activities of unit assigned.
• Collaborate with residents on one on one program, provide visits, and document interaction as required.
• Provides hostess service at noon meal in the main dining room when assigned.
• Encourages Residents to participate in all manner of activities, transport residents to and from events.
• Operate Fleet Landing vehicles if authorized for trips and outings and accompany resident on facility outings.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education Required: High school diploma or College degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of one (1) year in social, recreational, or dependent care environment. Experience working with dementia and Alzheimer patients a plus, working with groups of seniors, and driving seniors experience necessary.
