A leading company in memory care is seeking a dedicated individual to coordinate and lead innovative programs for residents with dementia. The role involves planning engaging activities, ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction, and collaborating with community resources. Ideal candidates will have a degree in a relevant field and experience in dementia care, along with strong organizational skills.

Qualifications/Skills/Educational Requirements:
Level of formal Educations:Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent
education and/or experience; subject to state requirements
Area of Study:Recreation, activities, geriatrics, and dementia care.
Years of Experience:Entry level (1-2 years)
Type of Experience:One to two years’ experience working with individuals with
Dementia including leading programs, managing Behavior
expressions, and educating associates and families on Alzheimer’s
and dementia. Experience organizing, conducting, and planning
programs and activities for seniors with dementia.
Special Certificates:Dementia training or Certified Dementia Practitioner preferred but
not required.
Language Skills:Proficiency with written and spoken English required.
Skills & Abilities:Strong organizational skills and time management. Experience in planning and organizing people and events. Experience with Behavior Expressions redirection and intervention.
