Job summary

Masonic Village Rehabilitation and Health Care seeks a Life Enrichment Coordinator to plan and lead activities for Assisted Living and Memory Care residents. This per-diem role supports the director, manages events, and helps recruit volunteers to boost resident engagement.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in senior living, recreation, activities, or related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate residents, staff, and volunteers while fostering a welcoming environment.
  • Working knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to resident services and activities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and ability to learn new software.
  • Ability to maintain required state-level certifications or licenses (such as a CDL, if applicable, for resident transportation duties).
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and special events as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Help recruit, coordinate, and support volunteers to enhance resident engagement and community involvement.
  • Assist with developing and maintaining relationships with local schools, businesses, and community organizations.
  • Encourage resident participation by building positive relationships and tailoring activities to resident interests and abilities.
  • Support department operations, including activity preparation, documentation, supply management, and event coordination.
  • Assist with supervising activity staff and volunteers while promoting a positive, team-oriented work environment.
  • Ensure activities are conducted safely and in compliance with applicable state, federal, and organizational regulations.
  • Provide support during evenings, weekends, and special events as needed.

Per-Diem opportunity available

3:30 PM- 7:30 PM

$21 an hour
