Job summary

Masonic Village Rehabilitation and Health Care is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator for a per-diem shift. The role runs 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM, pays $21 per hour, and supports enrichment for Assisted Living and Memory Care residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior living or related field preferred.
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and leading activities and enrichment programs for Assisted Living and Memory Care residents.
• Support the Life Enrichment Director in maintaining a calendar of activities, events, and resident programs.
• Help recruit, coordinate, and support volunteers to enhance resident engagement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local schools, businesses, and community organizations.
• Encourage resident participation by tailoring activities to interests and abilities.
• Support department operations, including activity prep, documentation, and supply management.
• Supervise activity staff and volunteers while promoting a positive team environment.
• Ensure activities comply with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Provide support during evenings, weekends, and special events as needed.

• Support the Life Enrichment Director in maintaining a comprehensive calendar of activities, special events, and resident-centered programs.

• Help recruit, coordinate, and support volunteers to enhance resident engagement and community involvement.

• Assist with developing and maintaining relationships with local schools, businesses, and community organizations.

• Encourage resident participation by building positive relationships and tailoring activities to resident interests and abilities.

• Support department operations, including activity preparation, documentation, supply management, and event coordination.

• Assist with supervising activity staff and volunteers while promoting a positive, team-oriented work environment.

• Ensure activities are conducted safely and in compliance with applicable state, federal, and organizational regulations.

• Provide support during evenings, weekends, and special events as needed.

Qualifications for Life Enrichment Coordinator:

• At least one (1) year of experience in senior living, recreation, activities, or a related field preferred.

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.

• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to motivate residents, staff, and volunteers while fostering a welcoming and engaging environment.

• Working knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to resident services and activities preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and the ability to learn new software applications.

• Ability to maintain required state-level certifications or licenses (such as a CDL, if applicable, for resident transportation duties).

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and special events as needed.
