Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in social or recreational programming preferred.
• Fluent in English, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the coordination and implementation of Life Enrichment programs.
• Facilitate scheduled activities with other departments.
• Promote positive interaction between residents, families, and community groups.
• Encourage resident participation and assist with resident outings.
• Adapt to match each resident's needs, communication, and engagement style.
• Assist in set up and break-down of special events.
• Support residents in transportation to appointments and outings.
• Communicate with the Director of Life Enrichment regarding residents' needs and concerns.
• Document resident participation in the Resident Engagement Record.
• Preserve the appearance of activity areas, supplies, and equipment.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
