Job summary

Orchard Health & Rehab is seeking a qualified Life Enrichment Director to lead patient-centered activities and coordinate a vibrant calendar of events.

In this role, you will work with an interdisciplinary team, develop and implement enrichment programs, and manage volunteers while complying with applicable regulations. The position offers full-time day shifts, competitive starting pay, and comprehensive benefits in a nonprofit setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a social or recreation program within the last five years.
• Healthcare professional with at least one year in a skilled nursing or similar setting preferred.
• Ability to work within an interdisciplinary team and follow regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and evaluation of life enrichment programs under the Director.
• Maintain life enrichment calendars reflecting patient needs and events.
• Promote ongoing delivery of programs including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Assist in developing and maintaining a volunteer program with screening and training.
• Participate in IDT meetings and care conferences as directed.
• Coordinate and deliver life enrichment activities as indicated.
• Maintain inter-departmental communication and supplies for meaningful activities.
• Adhere to safety, privacy, and compliance policies as required.
