Job summary

Bridgeway Park Canton Senior Living Facility is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator to plan purposeful and fun activities for residents. The role focuses on encouraging independence, planning diverse programs, and documenting progress.

The coordinator will support mobility through light therapeutic activities and assist with ROM as needed, while maintaining a positive, collaborative team approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in physical rehab preferred.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of basic computer operations.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as a team.
• Able to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
• Every other weekend is required.
• Flexibility, creativity, patience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement and evaluate activity programs.
• Encourage and motivate residents through engaging activities such as chair yoga, dance circles, crafts, pet visits, and outings.
• Maintain documentation of resident progress and attendance for supervisor review.

Bridgeway Park Canton Senior Living Facility is hiring a Life Enrichment Coordinator. The life enrichment coordinator will be responsible for planning purposeful and fun activities for our residents.

The duties are:

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing and evaluating the activity programs, encouraging and motivating our residents. Some activities are chair yoga, dance circle, seasonal crafts, pet visits, outings and more.
• Emphasize independence and maximize ability so that residents attain/maintain their highest level of functioning.
• Completes weekly documentation of resident progress to the supervisor regarding the residents’ attendance, behavior and level of involvement.
• Assisting with Range of Motion and therapeutic exercises to restore mobility.

Requirements
