Job summary

Lutheran SeniorLife in Butler, PA is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator for a full-time role in a licensed personal care community. A $4,000 sign-on bonus is offered, paid throughout the first year of employment, and the position is based in Butler, PA.

The Life Enrichment Coordinator will manage ASPIRE Wellness activities across six dimensions under the guidance of the PCHA/ALA, promoting resident engagement and a person-centered care approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• PTRS or NAAP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage, organize, implement and evaluate ASPIRE Wellness dimensions (active, spiritual, purposeful, intellectual, relational and expressive) under the guidance of the Personal Care Home Administrator (PCHA) / Assisted Living Administrator (ALA).

Our services include LIFE (Living Independence for the Elderly); skilled nursing, home health; personal care; adoption & foster care; assisted living; adult day services; memory care; hospice; palliative care; residential living; affordable housing; home safety monitoring; Meals on Wheels; rehabilitation services and private duty.

Licensed personal care community with accommodations for 29 individuals needing more support with activities of daily living. Located near the Benbrook Medical Center Complex in Butler, PA. Comfortable and home-like environment offering a person-centered approach to care.

Significant to the Abundant Life mission of Lutheran SeniorLife, the Life Enrichment Coordinator is responsible for the management, organization, implementation and evaluation of ASPIRE Wellness dimensions (active, spiritual, purposeful, intellectual, relational and expressive) under the guidance of the Personal Care Home Administrator (PCHA) / Assisted Living Administrator (ALA).

Qualifications

Life Enrichment Coordinator qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certification through Pennsylvania Therapeutic Recreation Society (PTRS) or National Association of Activity Professionals (NAAP) preferred.
