Job summary

Lutheran SeniorLife in Butler, PA, is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator to lead ASPIRE Wellness dimensions and coordinate engaging activities for residents. The role reports to the PCHA/ALA and supports a person-centered approach in a licensed personal care setting.

Eligible candidates may receive a $4,000 sign-on bonus. This is a full-time opportunity with a strong benefits package and opportunities for professional certification and growth within the Lutheran SeniorLife system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certification through Pennsylvania Therapeutic Recreation Society (PTRS) or National Association of Activity Professionals (NAAP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage ASPIRE Wellness dimensions (active, spiritual, purposeful, intellectual, relational and expressive) under the guidance of the Personal Care Home Administrator (PCHA) / Assisted Living Administrator (ALA).
• Coordinate, implement and evaluate wellness programs for residents in a licensed personal care community.

Our services include LIFE (Living Independence for the Elderly); skilled nursing, home health; personal care; adoption & foster care; assisted living; adult day services; memory care; hospice; palliative care; residential living; affordable housing; home safety monitoring; Meals on Wheels; rehabilitation services and private duty.

Licensed personal care community with accommodations for 29 individuals needing more support with activities of daily living. Located near the Benbrook Medical Center Complex in Butler, PA. Comfortable and home-like environment offering a person-centered approach to care.

Significant to the Abundant Life mission of Lutheran SeniorLife, the Life Enrichment Coordinator is responsible for the management, organization, implementation and evaluation of ASPIRE Wellness dimensions (active, spiritual, purposeful, intellectual, relational and expressive) under the guidance of the Personal Care Home Administrator (PCHA) / Assisted Living Administrator (ALA).
