Job summary

Hirebridge LLC in Yakima, WA seeks a Life Enrichment Coach to support KIM clients at home and in the community, promoting personal growth through goal-based guidance and daily living assistance. Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Background check cleared by DSHS before working alone with clients.
• Valid driver’s license or Washington State ID.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to follow instructions, organize and set priorities, and work with staff and clients; independent judgment.
• Intermediate experience supporting developmentally disabled adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide Trauma-Informed, Crisis Intervention and Prevention Intervention Support.
• Support clients in achieving and identifying behavioral goals.
• Document client behaviors appropriately.
• Facilitate coordination of managed care.
• Acknowledge and advocate for the needs, wants, and rights of clients with dignity and respect.
• Teach useful emotional and behavioral regulation techniques.
• Identify areas of change clients want to achieve and develop action plans.
• Coordinate goal setting and report progress with clients and management.
• Assist with client money management such as petty cash, receipts, checkbook and EBTs.
• Supervise clients to ensure safety and maintain confidentiality.
• Transport and accompany clients to activities and health appointments; arrange transportation as needed.
• Provide documentation for appointments to management in a timely manner.
• Communicate with medical offices and pharmacies; administer medications as required.
• Maintain an open, respectful staff/client relationship and comply with policies.
