Job summary

StoryPoint Northville is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to support and implement engaging activities for residents at our Northville Township community. The role calls for scheduling on Tuesdays and Fridays, 9am–5pm, with a part-time arrangement and a pay rate of $16 per hour.

Responsibilities include assisting the Life Enrichment Director with activity planning, coordinating events, and maintaining safe, welcoming spaces for residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years related experience and/or training preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule which may include evenings weekends and holidays.
• Compassionate towards the senior population.
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration of team.
• Proficient in general computer skills.

• Actively support our 1440 culture and pillars.
• Assist the Life Enrichment Director with the overall direction planning communication and execution of activities and life skills in the Life Enrichment department.
• Supports the Life Enrichment Director and Life Enrichment Lead with administrative tasks as needed.
• Complete all tasks and functions while maintaining a high level of resident safety.
• Support in proper setup clean up and upkeep of activity areas and community spaces.
• Support transportation by attending outings coordinating relevant administrative tasks and upholding safety practices.
• Adhere to and uphold all standards in the Employee Handbook.

General Working Conditions

This position entails standing for long periods of time. While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to communicate effectively with others sit stand walk and use hands to handle keyboard telephone paper files and other equipment and objects The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms This position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens The employee will occasionally lift andor move up to 25 pounds The work environment requires appropriate interaction with others The noise level in the work environment is moderate Occasional travel to different locations may be required
