Job summary

Leisure Living is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant in St Johns, MI. This part-time role supports planning and delivering engaging activities to enhance the social welfare and interests of our senior residents at a Life Connections community.

Position requires compassion for seniors, flexible scheduling (including weekends/holidays), and basic computer skills. The pay is $16 per hour with opportunities to contribute to a caring, vibrant campus culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum one to three years related experience and/or training preferred
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holiday hours
• Compassionate towards the senior population
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a team
• Proficient in general computer skills
• Experience with activity planning or enrichment programs (a plus)

Responsibilities

• Actively support our 1440 culture and pillars
• Assist the Life Enrichment Director with the overall direction planning communication and execution of activities and life skills in the Life Enrichment department
• Supports the Life Enrichment Director and Life Enrichment Lead with administrative tasks as needed
• Complete all tasks and functions while maintaining a high level of resident safety
• Support in proper setup clean up and upkeep of activity areas and community spaces
• Support transportation by attending outings coordinating relevant administrative tasks and upholding safety practices
• Adhere to and uphold all standards in the Employee Handbook

Position Summary

General Working Conditions
