Job summary

Artis Senior Living in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to lead engaging daily activities for residents with memory care needs. This part-time role begins at $15.50 per hour and offers a supportive team environment.

You will create programs, coordinate monthly calendars, and collaborate with colleagues to tailor activities to individual resident interests. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and prior eldercare experience is a plus.

• Utilize the Partnership Profile to develop appropriate programs of interest to residents.
• Engage residents in daily programming and entertainment; support and maintain an effective volunteer program.
• Coordinate with outside agencies to develop programs that enhance resident experience.
• Plan trips for residents that meet individual needs and memory care considerations.
• Provide information to leadership regarding resident engagement to assist with personalized care plans.

*We are hiring for TWO part-time positions! Available schedules are Monday-Friday, 9:30am-5pm OR 12pm-7:30pm, with every other weekend required!

At Artis Senior Living, we’re honored to serve families in our vibrant and welcoming communities, and we’re looking for a Life Enrichment Assistant ready to lead with heart.

We proudly title our Activities Assistants as the Life Enrichment Assistant, reflecting the collaborative role they play in our community and the important work they do to support our residents and families.

The Life Enrichment Assistant will engage residents in daily programming and entertainment. Assists the Director in the creation of activities designed to meet the individual needs of our residents. Familiarity with Alzheimer's/Dementia is preferred, and a willingness to work with the elderly population is essential for this role.

The Life Enrichment Assistant will:

• Create and develop programs that meet the individualized needs of the resident population at the community.
• Collaborate with other Life Enrichment Assistants to develop a monthly calendar that meets the Artis standards and the individual interests of the residents.
• Utilize the Partnership Profile to develop appropriate programs of interest to the residents.
• Utilize the associate Partnership Profile to involve associates in programs of interest and to enhance the monthly calendar.
• Demonstrate the company philosophy of Positive Partnerships the ARTIS Way.
• Assures that the ARTIS specific programs are being held as designated (i.e., Time to Dish, Town Halls, I CAN program, and I’m AlWrite).
• Coordinate with outside agencies and organizations to develop programs that enhance resident experience.
• Plans out trips for residents that meet their individual needs and are appropriate for residents with memory loss
• Provides information to the Director of Life Enrichment regarding resident engagement to assist with the development of a personalized care plan.
• Maintain communication with family members regarding level of participation in programs.
• Support and maintain an effective volunteer program through screening, orienting, training, supervising and evaluating volunteers.
