Ebenezer's Meadow Woods Assisted Living in East Bloomington seeks a Life Enrichment Assistant to support the Life Enrichment Director in planning, implementing, and evaluating programming that promotes residents' physical, psychosocial, spiritual and cognitive well-being.

You will lead social events, conduct exercise classes, coordinate activities with all departments, document outcomes, and help residents maintain independence and meaningful engagement through outings and family events.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in life enrichment or related activities.
• Ability to plan, implement and evaluate programs.
• Strong communication and coordination with multiple departments.
• Willingness to lead events and exercise classes.
• Ability to document and report on programming outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assists with life enrichment programs and activities.

• Assists in meeting the psychosocial needs of residents: Encourages resident participation.
• Reports change in resident attitude, mood, or physical status to appropriate staff.
• Promotes resident independence by offering choices and fostering self-help skills.
• Assists residents in developing relationships and effectively socializing

Job Overview

We are looking for a Life Enrichment Assistant to join our team! This role assists the Life Enrichment Director with planning, implementing, and evaluating the life enrichment programming which provides for the optimization of resident physical, psychosocial, spiritual and cognitive well-being. Life Enrichment Assistants help bring to life Ebenezer's cornerstones: Life Long Learning, Dimensions Program for Dementia Care, Crafted Culinary, Spiritual Care, Wellness and Intergenerational Programming.

This schedule includes;

• 80 hours per two weeks
• Day shift
• No weekends

Meadow Woods Assisted Living, part of the Martin Luther Senior Living Campus is located in East Bloomington, near woodlands/wetlands and along the Minnesota River Bluffs. Managed by Ebenezer, we offer 137 units between our Skilled Nursing, Memory Care and Transitional Care. We have an outstanding team of tenured staff. The only thing missing is YOU!
