Job summary

Greencroft Communities is seeking a Part-Time Life Enrichment Aide to support weekend programming and fill-in shifts for its Golden Years Homestead, a nonprofit senior living community. The role emphasizes enriching residents' daily lives with energy, creativity, and compassion.

Ideal candidates are caring, dependable, and enthusiastic, with strong communication skills and a passion for older adults. A valid driver’s license and basic computer skills are required; weekend availability is a must.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with games, crafts, exercise programs, music, special events, and social activities.
  • Encouraging residents to participate in activities that match their interests and abilities.
  • Building positive relationships through conversation, companionship, and one-on-one visits.
  • Supporting weekend activities and stepping in to cover scheduled or unexpected staffing needs.
  • Helping organize activity supplies and prepare for events.
  • Assisting with activity documentation and communication with the care team.
  • Creating a welcoming, engaging environment where residents can connect, laugh, and enjoy each day.

What You'll Do


As a Life Enrichment Aide, you'll help create meaningful experiences that bring joy and purpose to our residents by:



  • Assisting with games, crafts, exercise programs, music, special events, and social activities.

  • Encouraging residents to participate in activities that match their interests and abilities.

  • Building positive relationships through conversation, companionship, and one-on-one visits.

  • Supporting weekend activities and stepping in to cover scheduled or unexpected staffing needs.

What We're Looking For

Physical Requirements


This position requires frequent walking, standing, reaching, bending, and lifting. Team members should be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds frequently, with or without reasonable accommodation.


The moments that matter most often happen through simple conversations, shared laughter, and meaningful activities. As a Part-Time Life Enrichment Aide, you'll help ensure our residents continue to enjoy engaging experiences—even on weekends and when extra support is needed.
