Morningside Elite Management is hiring an Activities Assistant - Life Enrichment to join our team in Setauket, New York. The role supports the Life Enrichment Director by designing, coordinating and facilitating a variety of resident activities to enrich daily living.

Full-time, part-time or per diem/PRN options are available. You will help plan programs, encourage participation, and maintain supplies while upholding safety and quality standards for our residents.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from a two-year college or technical school (or equivalent).
• Six months to one year related experience and/or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and evaluating resident activities.
• Encourage resident participation in programs and activities.
• Escort residents on activities away from the property as assigned.
• Assist with the registration of residents for trips and programs.
• Conduct activities as directed by the Life Enrichment Director.
• Maintain activity supplies, including outside purchasing.
• Survey residents to determine interests and satisfaction.
• Follow departmental budget guidelines.
• Attend required training and staff meetings.
