Job summary

WellBridge of Fenton is seeking an Activities Aide to deliver and lead daily life enrichment programs in our Michigan facility. You will promote hospitality, support guests and families, and help create a positive healing environment through engaging activities.

The role emphasizes leading group and one-on-one activities, encouraging participation, and tailoring programs to individual tastes and needs for meaningful engagement. Full-time hours are available.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related experience in long term care preferred.
• Associates in Music or Recreational Therapy is preferred
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care!
• You are a team player, dedicated to doing what it takes to support your team members and get the job done.

Responsibilities

• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors.
• Assist and lead group and one-on-one life enrichment programs.
• Encourage attendance and transport to life enrichment programs.
• Evaluate patients according to background, interests, abilities and needs for meaningful programs.
• Develop and display thematic and holiday decorations throughout the facility.
