Legend Senior Living in Bucks County, PA is seeking a Life Enrichment (Activities) Coordinator to lead the Life Enrichment team and oversee the activity program, ensuring residents have engaging daily activities that stimulate the mind, body and spirit.

This role involves developing calendars, coordinating transportation, training staff and volunteers, and ensuring compliance with regulations while maintaining a warm, home-like environment for residents.

Qualifications

• 1 year of activity planning or event planning experience
• Prefer: leading volunteers and supervising staff
• Prefer: experience working with older adults
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform standing/walking/bending/pushing/pulling throughout shift

Responsibilities

• Developing the monthly life enrichment calendar to meet residents' physical, social, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs
• Overseeing service plans and conducting personal interviews to understand preferences
• Training all staff participating in life enrichment programs
• Maintaining a volunteer program with training and supervision
• Coordinating transportation for residents to events, including driving company buses or vehicles
• Managing budget, equipment and supplies to complete the activity schedule; sharing photos/videos per company standards
• Assisting the Sales Director with planning and delivering community events
• Designing layouts and decorations for activities and displays
• Reviewing the activity program to ensure compliance with regulations

JOB HIGHLIGHTS-- Life Enrichment (Activities) Coordinator

We are looking for outstanding individuals to lead the Life Enrichment team as a Life Enrichment (Activities) Coordinator. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by overseeing the activity program and ensuring residents have a variety of engaging daily activities that stimulate the mind, body and spirit.

The schedule varies by location, but may require some weekends.

Responsibilities-- Life Enrichment (Activities) Coordinator

• Developing the monthly life enrichment calendar to help meet the physical, social, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs of residents
• Overseeing service plans and personal interviews with residents to gain insight into preferences and abilities
• Training all staff participating in life enrichment programs
• Maintaining a volunteer program, and ensuring they are trained and supervised
• Coordinating the transportation of residents to and from outside events, to include driving company bus and/or vehicle when needed
• Monitoring budget, equipment, and supplies to ensure that the activity schedule can be completed successfullyCapturing and sharing photos and videos of residence activities on company-approved social media and publication platforms, according to company standards
• Assisting the Sales Director with the planning and delivery of community events or activities at the community
• Designing the physical layout and decorations for activities, displays, and other life enrichment products that meet company standards
• Reviewing the activity program to ensure that it meets all state, federal, company, and other regulations and guidelines

Requirements-- Life Enrichment (Activities) Coordinator

• Required: 1 year of activity planning or event planning experience
• Prefer: prior experience in leading volunteers and supervising staff
• Prefer: experience working with older adults
• Individual is required to perform standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout their shift.

DRIVING REQUIREMENTS--Life Enrichment (Activities) Coordinator

• Required: Current/valid driver's license
• Required: Age 25 years or older to meet company insurance requirements
• Required: Clean driving record to meets company insurance requirements
• Required: Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles/buses
