Job summary

Oakmont Gardens in Santa Rosa is seeking an Activities Assistant to plan, schedule, and coordinate activities that support residents’ physical, mental and social well-being. You will work with the Director to implement Life Enrichment programs and create engaging monthly calendars.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED; an Associate’s degree is preferred and at least six months’ experience with seniors in activities or life enrichment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Six (6) months experience working with seniors in activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, scheduling, and coordinating all resident activities following the Life Enrichment programs.
• Promote a healthy community culture for all residents and staff.
• Lead daily resident activities and prepare monthly calendars.
• Plan engaging programs for diverse resident needs, including memory care.
• Collaborate with the Director on activity scheduling and events.
