Job summary
Wichita Presbyterian Manor is seeking a Life Enrichment / Activities Assistant to develop and carry out programs that address the residents' physical, mental and psychosocial needs, guided by person-centered care and regulatory standards. The role supports a faith‑based, not-for-profit community and encourages empowerment of residents and families.
Starting at $15.00 per hour with shift and weekend differentials under our premium pay plan, additional pay based on experience and a comprehensive
Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred.
- One year experience in activities programs in a health care setting preferred.
- Long term care experience preferred.
- Valid Driver's License required.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and carrying out life enrichment programs for residents.
- Support the physical, mental and psychosocial needs of residents and promote person-centered care.
- Help create a home-like environment and empower residents and families.
