Job summary

New Perspective Split Rock in Cloquet, MN, is seeking a Life Engagement Coach to coordinate and deliver engaging activities for residents. You will partner with the care team to support residents’ physical, cognitive, dining, and social experiences, helping them live life on purpose.

We offer training, advancement, education financial assistance, bonuses, and benefits. Full-time hours with starting wage of $17.00 per hour, with competitive compensation and an emphasis on compassionate service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Team-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to make decisions in residents' best interest.
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance if required to drive the community vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the calendar creation and personal schedules for the assigned neighborhood.
• Ensure supplies and working technology are available to residents.
• Continually invite, encourage and assist residents in all activities.
• Set up evening engagement agenda and follow up the next day to ensure the plan was executed.
• Assist the team with the monthly budget to provide food, engagement, and educational activities.
• Communicate with residents, families and team members in a kind, respectful and effective way.
• Champion hospitality and deliver excellent customer service to residents, families, visitors, and vendors.
• Ensure an attractive home environment that fosters engagement, socialization and purposeful living.
• Drive the community transportation vehicle for resident outings and appointments.
